Our apps

Every Galvyn app is covered by our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Below is exactly which Google data each app uses, and why.

Compound

compound.galvyn.xyz

Compound is a private household app, on the web and iPhone. One family uses it to keep its schedule, shopping, health information and finances in one place. Each household sees only its own data, and you connect only what you choose to.

Google data Compound uses, and why

  • Sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo, to create your account and sign you in.
  • Google Calendar, read-only (calendar.readonly, optional): to show your household's schedule in Compound, from the calendars you choose.
  • Google Calendar, app-created calendars only (calendar.app.created, optional): to add events, such as travel time for a health visit, to a separate calendar that Compound creates for you. Compound can write only to that calendar. It cannot change or delete events in any of your other calendars.
  • Gmail, read-only (gmail.readonly, optional): to find orders, shipping and returns, receipts, travel bookings and loyalty-program statements, and show them as your household's purchases and trips. Compound cannot send, delete, label or change any email. You can limit it to a single label you choose. For other mail it keeps only the sender, subject, date and a short preview, so the message isn't read again; the body is discarded.

How this data is stored, protected, shared and deleted is in the Google user data section of our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@galvyn.xyz.
